Steeve Mask
Veteran Italian DJ Steeve Mask has honed his production skills as one half of The Bulletz who have recorded and remixed for the heavy duty likes of Transport Recordings, Jay-J’s Shifted Music, and Conya. Recently, he co-founded the new Fresh Cream Recordings label whose debut single is Steeve’s own “Sweet Romance,” out on February 8. This fantastic single finds Steeve Mask collaborating with the impressive Parisian singer Adama on a mid-tempo dancefloor groover equally comfortable on club speakers or radio broadcasts. Its eighties-style bass riff, superb vocal hook, and nu-disco synth bounce is certain to grab the attention of even the most jaded dance music fans. As a DJ, Steeve Mask carries this vibe on to his sets which show the confidence of someone spinning records for over a decade, with dabs of nu-disco, funk, and soulful house spicing up an already high charged house music selection.
About Fresh Cream Records
Fresh Cream is all about quality music: no matter if you name it house, deep, tech, or nu-disco, this new European label doesn’t mind about classification but only about the absolute and pure beauty of notes and beats.
Born from an idea of club veterans Marco Rea, Rudy Vicari, Steeve Mask and Thomas de Lorenzo, Fresh Cream is ready to dive into 2012 with a string of great releases, that will please both your feet and soul, delivering great music for the dancefloor but also for a simple listening pleasure.
The Bulletz
The Bulletz is the deep house project of scene veterans Thomas De Lorenzo and Steeve Mask: they started working together in 2009 with a bang, winning Jay-J’s “Love Alive” remix competition, which found the mix released on Jay-J’s own label Shifted Music. Many remixes followed, for artists like Lisa Shaw, Dj MFR, Atjazz, Emme, Greg Dorban, Morrisson…
Now they’ll collaborate exclusively with Fresh Cream Records, keeping the deep vibe alive.
